WAEC announces release date for 2026 BECE results
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has confirmed that the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results are expected to be released on or before July 15, 2026.
According to WAEC’s Head of Public Relations, John Kapi, all BECE answer scripts have already been marked. He explained that the council is now carrying out the final checks to make sure every result is correct, accurate, and ready for release.
WAEC says these final verification processes are very important because they help ensure that every candidate receives the right result. The council is working hard to complete everything on time.
Mr. Kapi assured students, parents, and schools that if there are no unexpected delays, the results will be released by July 15, 2026.
Thousands of BECE candidates across Ghana have been waiting eagerly for their results. The results will help determine which senior high schools students will be placed in for the next stage of their education.
Students are encouraged to stay calm and wait for the official announcement from WAEC. They should also be careful of false information circulating on social media and rely only on official updates.
We wish all 2026 BECE candidates the very best and hope they achieve excellent results.
