Price of Nursing Training Admission Forms Reduced to ₵150 – Health Minister, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh announces.
The Ministry of Health has made an important announcement that will bring relief to many students across Ghana.
In a press release signed by the Minister for Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh (MP), it was confirmed that the cost of application forms for admission into Health Training Institutions has been reduced.
According to the press release, the sale of application forms for the 2025/2026 academic year will officially start on Tuesday, 22nd April, 2025 and end on Thursday, 19th June, 2025. The Ministry added that “Details will be published soon.”
One of the most important changes is the reduction in the price of the forms. The statement said, “The cost of application forms, which was Two Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHS 200.00), has now been reduced to One Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis (GHS 150.00).”
The Ministry explained that this reduction is to make it easier for more people to apply. “The reduction is intended to enhance access and affordability for applicants across the country.”

The press release also advised the general public and prospective applicants to buy the forms only from approved banks. It stated: “Only GCB Bank PLC and the Agriculture Development Bank are mandated to sell the application forms.”
This move is expected to help many students who wish to pursue a career in healthcare. With this new price, more young Ghanaians will be able to apply for admission into the health training institutions across the country.
