The letter also expressed appreciation for the service of the affected coordinators:“May I take this opportunity to thank you for your service to the nation and wish you well in all your endeavours.”
Furthermore, the letter directed the coordinators to complete the necessary processes at the GSFP Secretariat:
“Kindly visit the GSFP Secretariat for your individual termination letters and handing over instructions.”
The Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) is an important initiative that provides meals to schoolchildren across the country. The sudden dismissal of all Regional and Zonal Coordinators raises concerns about the program’s administration and its impact on the beneficiaries.
While the government has not provided reasons for this decision, stakeholders will be keen to know whether new coordinators will be appointed or if there are plans to restructure the program.
The affected coordinators are expected to comply with the Ministry’s directive and visit the GSFP Secretariat for their formal termination letters and further instructions. Meanwhile, the government is yet to announce any replacements or future plans for the program’s management.
