The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has announced that applications are open for its 5-Semester Bachelor of Education Sandwich Programme for the 2025/2026 academic year. This programme is designed for individuals who want to teach in Senior High Schools. The academic year starts in April 2025 and ends in March 2026.

Admission Requirements

To qualify for admission, applicants must have a Diploma in Basic Education and meet the specific subject requirements for their chosen programme.

1. Bachelor of Education (Science)

• Diploma in Basic Education
• SSSCE/WASSCE credits in:
  • Elective Mathematics
  • Chemistry or Physics or Economics

2. Bachelor of Education (Mathematics)

• Diploma in Basic Education
• SSSCE/WASSCE credits in:
  • Elective Mathematics
  • Chemistry or Physics or Economics

3. Bachelor of Education (Arts)

• Diploma in Basic Education
• SSSCE/WASSCE credits in any two of the following subjects:
  • History
  • Christian/Islamic Religious Studies
  • French
  • Literature in English
  • Ghanaian Language

4. Bachelor of Education (Social Sciences)

• Diploma in Basic Education
