Good News: Teacher Trainees’ Allowance Will Be Paid Next Week
There is good news for teacher trainees across the country. According to Dr. Saajida Shiraz, the CEO of the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF), teacher trainees’ allowances will be paid next week.
Dr. Shiraz made this announcement during the Her Worth, Her World program organized by the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG). The event was held at the Presbyterian Women’s College of Education in Aburi.
This announcement has brought smiles to many students in colleges of education. The allowance is important because it helps trainees take care of their basic needs such as food, transportation, and learning materials.
Many trainees have been waiting for this payment for a long time. Some have even borrowed money to support themselves while waiting for the allowance. Now, they are happy to hear that help is finally on the way.
