No-Fees Stress: SLTF Opens Registration Portal for First-Year Tertiary Students in Ghana, Apply Here

The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has just made it easier for new Tertiary students in Ghana to get financial help.
On April 29, 2025, the Minister of Education, Honourable Haruna Iddrisu, announced the launch of a special online portal for first-year students. This is part of a new plan called the No-Fee-Stress policy.

What is the No-Fee-Stress Policy?
This new policy is meant to help students who are starting public universities but are struggling to pay for their education. The idea is to remove money problems that stop many students from going to school. It’s a smart move by the government to invest in young people so they can succeed and help Ghana grow.
How Does It Work?
The SLTF has created a website where students can register and apply for support. The process is simple and easy to use. Students will fill in their details online, and the SLTF will check if they qualify for the financial help.
