Second Semester Reopening Date for Colleges of Education –2024/2025 Academic Year
The second semester for the 2024/2025 academic year is just around the corner. If you are a student at any College of Education, it is important to take note of the following key dates and information as you prepare to return to school.

Reopening Date: Monday, June 16, 2025
All students in Level 100, Level 200, Level 300, and Level 400 are required to report to campus on Monday, June 16, 2025. This marks the beginning of the second semester, which will last for twelve (12) weeks. During this period, students will attend lectures, participate in academic activities, and prepare for their end-of-semester examinations.
Important Information for Level 400 (Final-Year) Students
Final-year students are reminded that they are not allowed to stay on campus during the second semester. If you are in Level 400, you are advised to make arrangements for private accommodation before school resumes. This policy is in place to ensure that there is enough space on campus for other students. Please plan ahead to avoid any last-minute challenges.

End-of-Semester Examination Period: Monday, September 8 – Friday, September 19, 2025
Once lectures end, there will be a two-week examination period starting on Monday, September 8 and ending on Friday, September 19, 2025. These exams are compulsory for all students in Levels 100 to 400. Make sure to check your personal exam timetable and begin studying early to ensure a successful performance.
End of the Academic Year: Saturday, September 20, 2025
The entire academic year will officially come to a close on Saturday, September 20, 2025. This date also marks the official completion of studies for all Level 400 students. After this day, all students are expected to go on vacation.
Reminder: First Semester Has Ended
As a reminder, the first semester officially ended on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Students are encouraged to use the short break to rest, recharge, and prepare mentally and academically for the second semester.
