Savannah College of Education Issues Warning Against Admission Fraud, Outlines Its Criteria for Selection

The Savannah College of Education, Daboya, has released an official disclaimer to warn the public about fake admission agents and fraudulent activities related to the college’s admission process.
According to the management, “The College hereby issues this public notice to inform all stakeholders, including prospective applicants, parents, and the general public, of the existence of fraudulent activities perpetrated by certain individuals who falsely present themselves as intermediaries or agents capable of facilitating admission into the College.”
The school made it clear that these people are not connected to the institution in any way. “These individuals are not affiliated with, nor have they been authorized, appointed, or endorsed by the College to act in any capacity whatsoever in relation to the admissions process,” the letter stated.

The management also warned that anyone who deals with these unauthorized individuals does so at their own risk. The statement continued, “Any individual who elects to engage with these unauthorized parties does so entirely at their own risk and peril.”
The College also cautioned its own staff, saying that any staff member found guilty of helping or participating in fraudulent acts will face serious punishment. “Any member of its staff found to be complicit in, or engaged in, such unethical and unauthorized conduct shall be subject to strict disciplinary measures,” the management emphasized.

Report Admission Fraud
The College is calling on the public to help fight these scams. They encouraged everyone to report suspicious people or activities related to admission to the nearest police station.
“Timely reporting will assist law enforcement and the College in curbing these unlawful practices and protecting the integrity of the admissions process,” they added.
Admission Requirements and criteria
The College reminded applicants of the official admission criteria:
- Credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, and either Integrated Science or Social Studies
- At least three additional credit passes in elective subjects
- Choosing the College as first choice on the public colleges’ application portal
- Meeting any additional admission criteria set by the College

Stay Alert and Use Official Channels
The College urged applicants and parents to always use official communication platforms for all admission information. “All applicants and their guardians are strongly advised to rely solely on the College’s official communication channels and platforms for accurate and up-to-date information regarding admissions,” the letter said.
“Be vigilant. Protect yourself from fraud. Admission into the College is strictly merit-based and governed by transparent procedures.”
