St. John Bosco College Opens Registration for Level 500 Resit Examinations
The Assessment Office of St. John Bosco College of Education has announced the opening of registration for Level 500 students who are required to take resit examinations.
According to a memo issued on 1st June 2026, the exercise follows a directive from the Institute for Teacher Education and Continuing Professional Development (ITECPD), which instructed colleges to conduct outstanding resit examinations and submit the results for processing.
Affected students have been advised to visit the Assessment Office and register their resit courses within five days from 1st June 2026. The college indicated that the resit examinations will begin immediately after the registration period, starting from 10th June 2026.
The Assessment Office emphasized that only students who complete their registration will be permitted to sit for the examinations. Students seeking further clarification have been directed to contact the Assessment Office.
Meanwhile, the ITECPD Professional Advisory Board, at its 15th Regular Meeting held on 20th May 2026, noted that some affiliated colleges still had pending resit examinations and unresolved issues relating to results on their broadsheets. It was also observed that some institutions had outstanding resit examinations dating back several years.
To address the situation and facilitate the graduation of affected students in 2026, the Board directed all affiliated colleges to conduct resit examinations between Monday, 15th June 2026 and Friday, 19th June 2026, and submit the results for further processing.
The Board further stated that candidates taking resit examinations will be required to pay a fee equivalent to 50 percent of the semester examination fee, regardless of the number of courses involved.
The directive has been communicated to all affiliated colleges for immediate implementation.
