Akatsi College of Education Graduates 469 Students, with 104 First Class Honours

Akatsi College of Education has successfully held its 16th Congregation Ceremony to celebrate the graduation of the 3rd batch of Bachelor’s Degree holders from the 2024 cohort. The colourful event marked a major milestone in the lives of 469 graduands who have completed their academic journey at the college.
The ceremony reflected the college’s strong commitment to its core mantra, “Head, Heart, and Hands,” which focuses on knowledge, character, and practical skills. Through dedication and hard work, the graduands achieved excellent academic results.
Out of the 469 students who graduated, 104 earned First Class Honors, made up of 23 students in B.Ed Upper Primary and 81 students in B.Ed Junior High School (JHS). In addition, 269 graduands obtained Second Class Upper Division, while 84 received Second Class Lower Division. The remaining 12 graduands graduated with Third Class. These results clearly show the high academic standards maintained by the college.
This achievement did not come easily. The graduands spent years learning, growing, and preparing themselves for the teaching profession. They faced challenges, remained disciplined, and stayed focused on their goals. Today, they proudly step out as fully trained professional teachers, ready to shape young minds and make positive contributions to education and national development.
