CETAG Calls Off Strike, Classes to Resume – Gh Edu Pro

Confirmed: Strike Called Off: A New Chapter Unfolds for CETAG
The wait is finally over! After 71 long days, the Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) has announced the suspension of its strike. This milestone marks a new beginning for CETAG, the Government Team, and the education sector as a whole.
Imagine the relief and joy felt by students, parents, and educators across Ghana. The strike, which began on June 14, 2024, had left many in limbo, uncertain about the future of education. But now, thanks to the tireless efforts of CETAG and the Government Team
CETAG, PRINCOF, affiliate universities and other stakeholders have to work together to find a solution to  the academic calendar.
The agreement reached on August 19, 2024, is a testament to the power of collaboration and understanding.
Both parties have worked diligently to find common ground, prioritizing the well-being of educators and the future of Ghana’s education sector. This means that students can now return to their studies.

So, what does this mean for you? If you’re a student, you can now return to your studies, knowing that your educators are supported and valued. If you’re a parent, you can breathe a sigh of relief, knowing that your child’s education is back on track. And if you’re an educator, you can now focus on what matters most  inspiring and empowering the next generation.
This breakthrough is more than just a suspension of the strike – it’s a beacon of hope for a brighter future.
