Government Announces Free Access to SHS/TVET Placement Results for 2024/2025 – Gh Edu Pro

In a major development, the Ministry of Education has announced free access to the Senior High School (SHS) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) placement results for the 2024/2025 academic year. This new initiative is designed to make the process of checking placement results easier and more affordable for students and their families.

No More Pin Codes Required

In previous years, students had to purchase pin codes to access their placement results on the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) platform. However, this is no longer the case.

With the new measure, students can now check their results free of charge. This move is expected to reduce the financial burden on families and improve access to education for first-year students across the country.

  2. Enter your 10-digit index number followed by “24” to represent the year of completion. For example, if your index number is 234604370, type it as  23460437024
  3. Click “Submit” and wait for your placement results to be displayed on the screen.

Encouraging Fair Access to Education

This free access initiative shows the government’s commitment to ensuring that all eligible students can easily check their placement results without facing financial hurdles. It is part of broader efforts to support education and make it more accessible to every Ghanaian student.

The Ministry of Education encourages all prospective first-year students and their families to take advantage of this new policy to check their placements. With this change, the process is now smoother and more convenient for everyone involved.
