Ghana Education Service Announces Release of 2025 School Placement

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially released the 2025 School Placement for students who sat for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). This placement gives successful candidates the opportunity to enter Senior High Schools (SHS), Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions, and other second-cycle schools across the country.

Admission Process

Students who have been placed are advised to:

  1. Check their placement online using the official Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) portal: www.cssps.gov.gh.
  2. Print the placement form and admission letter from the portal.
  3. Present the documents to their chosen school for admission and further instructions.

Reporting and Registration

All placed students are expected to report to their schools starting 3rd October 2025. Heads of schools are also directed to ensure that registration processes are smooth and free from challenges.

Compliance and Supervision

Regional and District Directors of Education have been tasked to monitor the admission process and ensure schools follow all GES guidelines. This is to make sure students are not charged unauthorized fees and that admissions are handled in a fair manner.

Important Reminder

Parents and guardians are encouraged to support their wards by helping them complete the registration process on time. Students who face challenges with their placement can seek redress through the GES solution centres set up across the regions.

Final Word

The release of the 2025 school placement is a major milestone for BECE candidates as they begin the next phase of their education. Students are urged to remain calm, follow the steps carefully, and prepare for an exciting journey into Senior High School.
