Ghana Tertiary Education Commission Donates Vehicles to Three Colleges of Education

The Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) has shown its support for quality education by donating vehicles to three Colleges of Education in Ghana.
On Monday, August 11, 2025, GTEC presented one vehicle each to:
- SDA College of Education
- St. Teresa’s College of Education
- St. Vincent College of Education
The donation was made by Rashidatu Barry, Head of Transport at GTEC, on behalf of the Director-General. She explained that the gesture was part of GTEC’s responsibility to help tertiary institutions provide quality education and improve their operations.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiary institutions, Professor Mrs. Scholastica W. Azuah, Principal of St. Teresa’s College of Education, expressed their heartfelt appreciation. She assured GTEC that the vehicles would be used for the right purposes to support teaching, learning, and administrative work.
This thoughtful donation will go a long way to improve mobility, make official duties easier, and strengthen the overall work of the Colleges of Education. It is also a reminder of how collaboration between government agencies and educational institutions can help improve the quality of education in Ghana.
