Step 2: Select “Check Placement”
After the website opens, look for the “Check Placement” option and click on it.
This will take you to the page where you can enter your details and check your placement status.
Step 3: Enter Your BECE Index Number
You will be asked to provide your BECE Index Number.
Enter your 10-digit BECE Index Number, followed by the year code 26.
For example, if your index number is:
0165250601 Add 26 to the end: 016525060126. Your final number should contain 12 digits.
Make sure you enter the number correctly before moving to the next step.
Step 4: Enter Your Date of Birth
Next, enter the date of birth you used when registering for the BECE.
It is important to provide the correct date of birth because the system uses your details to confirm your identity.
Step 5: Submit Your Details
After entering your BECE Index Number and date of birth, check the information carefully.
Then click on “Submit” or “Sign In”, depending on what is displayed on the website.
Your placement information should appear if you have been successfully placed.
How to Save or Print Your Placement Slip
If you have been automatically placed in a school, you can save your placement/enrolment slip as a PDF.
You can also print the slip if you have access to a printer.
It is advisable to keep a copy of your placement slip because you may need it during the admission and enrolment process.
What If You Have Not Been Placed?
If the system shows that you have not been automatically placed, do not panic.
You may have the opportunity to use the Self-Placement option when it is activated.
Once Self-Placement becomes available, students should act quickly. You will be able to choose from schools that still have available vacancies, depending on the options provided by the CSSPS.
Remember that available schools may change as students select their preferred schools, so it is important to check the system regularly.
