Step 1: Check If You’re Indexed (For Fresh Candidates Only)

• First, go to https://indexing.ntc.gov.gh key in your index number your currently using in school to see if your training institution has uploaded your details.
• Pay the indexing fee of GH₵50 using Prudential Bank (any branch) or via mobile money by dialing *772*51#. (National Teaching Council)
• After payment, you’ll receive a message containing your indexing number, plus further instructions. Use this number to log back into the indexing portal and verify your details. (National Teaching Council)

Step 2: Pay the Exam Registration Fee

• Fresh candidates (three papers): GH₵450
• Re-sit candidates:
  • 1 paper: GH₵150
  • 2 papers: GH₵210
  • 3 papers: GH₵385 (National Teaching Council)

Payment can be made at Prudential Bank or via mobile money (*772*51#). Make sure you collect your Serial Number and PIN after completion. (National Teaching Council)

Step 3: Register Online for the Exam

1. Visit https://exams.ntc.gov.gh
2. Choose New Registration (for fresh candidates) or Resit Registration (for re-sitters).
3. Enter your Serial Number and PIN.
4. Fill in your personal and educational details.
5. Upload a passport photo with white background (under 250 KB).
6. Carefully review your information, then submit.
7. Print the registration summary, and read and accept the exam rules.

Important notes:

• Once paid, registration is non-refundable, and changes to your photo won’t be accepted. (National Teaching Council)
• Make sure to complete the registration on or before September 28, 2025. There will be no extensions. (National Teaching Council)

Step 4: Checking Results

• Visit https://exams.ntc.gov.gh and click Check Results.
• Enter your Serial Number and PIN to view your results.
• You can also visit your exam centre to get a printed copy of your results
