The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that some private senior high schools are now part of the Free SHS program. This means that students who are placed in these schools through the school placement system will not have to pay school fees. The government will take care of their fees, just like in the public schools.
This move is part of efforts to end the double-track system and make sure more students get access to quality education.
