The National Teaching Council (NTC) has officially released important guidelines for all candidates preparing for the 2025 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE).

According to the Council, candidates must ensure their details are uploaded by their training institutions before making payment. NTC stated:
“A prospective candidate should make payment only when his/her details have been uploaded onto the indexing portal by their training institutions.”
This means that if your details are not available on the portal, you cannot pay at the bank or via the short code.

NTC also warned that:
“Any person who is not qualified or does not have his/her details on the examination portal and goes ahead to make any payment will not have a refund of the money.”
Key Guidelines for NTC Exam 2025 Registration
Here are the main instructions every candidate must follow:
- Review all information before submitting your registration.
- Print the summary of your inputs after filling the form.
- Read and accept the examination regulations.
- Keep your Pin and Serial Number safe for future use.
- NTC will not allow any change of photograph after submission.

NTC Advice and Caution to Candidates
NTC has also cautioned candidates not to use one phone number to buy more than one voucher. “Failure to comply may pose a challenge to you during the registration process,” the Council said.
Other important instructions include:
- Dress code must be formal or professional.
- No baby is allowed inside the examination hall.
- Candidates must finish online registration not later than 28th September 2025.
- “There will be no extension in the time for registration beyond the 28th September deadline,” NTC emphasized.

NTC Exam Date for 2025
The official date for the NTC Teacher Licensure Examination 2025 is 13th to 15th October 2025.
