The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban S.K. Bagbin, has officially opened a modern STEM laboratory in Kaleo, a community in the Upper West Region. The new lab is aimed at boosting STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) for students in the area.
The new STEM lab is fully equipped with robotics technology to encourage creativity and innovation among students. The goal is to give students hands-on experience with modern tools and inspire them to think critically and solve real-world problems.

The lab also features the ASANKA educational platform, an offline interactive system that provides learning materials without needing an internet connection. This is especially helpful in areas with limited or no internet access. The platform supports multiple languages, making it inclusive and accessible to all learners.
