TTAG Confirms New Dates and Fees for 2025 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) for Level 400 Students and Resitters

The Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) has released new dates and modalities for the upcoming Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE). This update is important for all Level 400 teacher trainees and resitters preparing for the exams.

In a press release signed by TTAG General Secretary, Victor Atsu Anyidoho, and National President, Nanija Divine, the association stated that the changes were made after consultations with the National Teaching Council (NTC) and the Ministry of Education (MoE).

According to TTAG, “the GTLE will be conducted under a new mode aimed at enhancing efficiency, credibility, and alignment with contemporary standards of teacher education.”

Exam Dates

The confirmed schedules are as follows:

  • Level 400 Teacher Trainees (First-time Candidates): Monday, 13th to Wednesday, 15th October, 2025.
  • Resitters: Monday, 27th to Tuesday, 28th October, 2025 (tentative).

Fees

Candidates are expected to pay the following fees:

  • Examination Fee: GHC 450.00
  • Indexing Fee: GHC 50.00

TTAG further explained that the NTC will soon provide more details about registration, the structure of the exams, and procedures. They also revealed that a series of Zoom meetings will be organized to give clear orientation to candidates.

The release advised all teacher trainees to take these updates seriously: “All affected candidates are advised to take note of these directives, prepare adequately, and follow official updates keenly.”

TTAG assured students of their commitment to protect their interests, adding, “TTAG remains committed to collaborating with NTC and MoE to safeguard the interests of all Teacher Trainees nationwide.”

The statement ended with a strong reminder of the association’s vision: “Building a formidable TTAG front, Teacher Trainees at Heart. TTAG, we mean well.”
