Revised Academic Calendar for Colleges of education Second Semester of the 2023-2024 Academic Year

PRINCOF set New Calendar for the Second Semester of the 2023-2024 Academic Year

On behalf of the Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education, Ghana (PRINCOF), I present the revised academic calendar for the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year.

 This revision follows the resumption of work by CETAG on August 20, 2024, after their industrial action.

Revised Calendar:

 1 August 26, 2024 – October 4, 2024  Resumption of Lectures 6 weeks 

 2  October 7, 2024 – October 11, 2024,  End of Semester Exams  1 week 

3 October 12, 2024 – November 3, 2024  Semester Break 3 weeks 

 4 November 4, 2024,  Commencement of 1st Semester 2024/2025 

Trainees are expected to take their studies seriously as time is not on their side.

Please take note;

The details of the academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic year will be finalized in consultation with all stakeholders and presented prior to the proposed start date.
