The National Service Authority (C) has announced the deployment of 13,700 trained teachers to various schools across Ghana for the 2025/2026 National Service. This marks the first batch of postings for teachers from accredited teacher training institutions.
Checking Placement and Appointment Letters
All deployed service personnel must visit the NSA website (www.nss.gov.gh) to check their placements. They must also print their appointment letters and get them endorsed by their assigned schools or institutions.

Start Date and Validation Process
- National Service officially begins on April 2, 2025.
- Validation at all NSA regional centers starts March 26, 2025, and ends April 11, 2025.
National Service is Mandatory
According to the National Service Authority Act (Act 1119) of 2024, all Ghanaian citizens who are 18 years or older and have completed an accredited tertiary institution must undertake national service.

Commitment to Quality Education
The NSA is working closely with the Ghana Education Service (GES), CHASS, and private schools to improve education, especially in rural areas.
Felix Gyamfi, the Director-General of the NSA, encourages all service personnel to serve with dedication. “Serve well!” he says.
