St. Vincent College of Education: Teacher Trainees Lament Over Irregularities in Exam Results – Gh Edu Pro

Teacher trainees at St. Vincent College of Education are facing serious challenges with their examination results. Many students, especially those in Level 200 and Level 400, have noticed errors and mix-ups in their grades, leading to frustration and confusion.
Errors in Results
Students have reported that:
Level 400 First Semester results were mistakenly swapped with Level 200 First Semester results, leaving the Level 400 First Semester portal blank.
Level 400 Second Semester results were also mixed up with Level 200 Second Semester results, making the Level 400 Second Semester portal blank.
Missing Continuous Assessment (CA) or Exam Scores
One of the major problems is that some students have either their Continuous Assessment (CA) scores without their exam scores or their exam scores without CA. This issue is particularly common in courses like Guidance and Counseling. This makes it difficult for students to know their actual grades.
Difficulty in Logging into the Portal
Many students have also complained that they cannot log into the student portal. Since the portal was created, some students have never been able to access it. This is frustrating because students rely on the portal to check their results and other academic information.
Some Courses Not Appearing on the Portal
Another serious issue is that some courses do not appear on the portal at all. Courses like African Studies, Liberal Studies, and Post Internship are missing. This means students taking these courses do not know their results, which can affect their academic progress.
These mistakes have caused serious concerns, as students fear they might be given wrong grades, which could affect their academic progress and future opportunities
Affected students have started submitting official requests for a review of their results. In their letters, they are:
- Highlighting the courses where they noticed discrepancies.
- Requesting a change in their grades if errors are found.
- Attaching their original transcripts as evidence.

Investigate and correct the errors as soon as possible.
Update the student portals with the correct results.
Communicate clearly with affected students about the next steps.
