When Will 2025/2026 College of Education Applicants Go to School? Check Here

any applicants have been asking GH EDU PRO about the exact date they will start school for the 2025/2026 academic year. As of now, there is no official date for the admission process to begin.

However, looking at last year’s timeline, the 2024/2025 admission process started on Monday, 7th October 2024. If things remain the same, we expect this year’s admissions to also begin around October 2025.

Last year, successful applicants were expected to report to school on 4th November 2024, but the date was later postponed to January 2025. This gave students more time to prepare for their academic journey.

For the 2025/2026 academic year, the reporting date is expected to be in September/October 2025.

Admission Requirements for Colleges of Education

To apply for admission into a College of Education in Ghana, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. WASSCE Applicants:
   • Must have at least six (6) credit passes (A1-C6) in English Language, Mathematics, and Science/Social Studies.
   • Three additional passes in relevant elective subjects.
2. SSSCE Applicants:
   • Must have at least six (6) credit passes (A-D) in English Language, Mathematics, and Science/Social Studies.
   • Three additional passes in relevant elective subjects.
3. TVET Applicants:
   • Must have three (3) credit passes in core subjects (English, Mathematics, and Integrated Science)
   • Three (3) credit passes in relevant elective subjects.

How to Apply

The application process is simple and can be done online. Follow these steps to apply:

1. Purchase an admission form from designated banks or online platforms.
2. Visit the official College of Education admission portal.
3. Fill out the application form with your personal and academic details.
4. Upload the required documents, including certificates and passport-sized photographs.
5. Submit your application and print the confirmation slip.

Deadline for Applications

If you have not applied yet, you can apply now. The deadline for College of Education applications is Sunday, 31st August 2025. Applicants should ensure they complete and submit their applications before this date to avoid any issues.
