National Service Registration Opens for Defaulters and Private Candidates for 2025/2026, Check Here – Gh Edu Pro
The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced that registration is now open for defaulters and private candidates who want to enroll for the 2025/2026 service year. This opportunity is for Ghanaian citizens who completed tertiary education but could not register for national service in previous years.
Who Can Apply?
- People who completed tertiary education but missed their national service.
- Private candidates whose certificates are from accredited institutions.
- Ghanaians who studied abroad.

Requirements for Registration
To register, applicants must submit these documents:
- A letter requesting a new PIN Code or reactivation of an old one (addressed to the NSA Director-General).
- Attestation letter from the institution attended.
- Certified true copy of the school certificate.
- Copy of Ghana Card and Student ID.
- Foreign-trained applicants must present their passport for inspection.
- Payment of a GH₵50.00 processing fee.
- Original copies of these documents for verification.
Eligible applicants can submit their documents at any NSA Regional Office or the Headquarters in Accra. Registration runs from Monday, March 17, 2025, to Friday, July 18, 2025 (excluding weekends and public holidays).
The NSA reminds all Ghanaians that, according to the law, every citizen who completes an accredited tertiary institution must undertake national service.
