Teacher Trainees Still Waiting for Allowance – CEO of SLTF Gives Update: “We are working to pay……..


Many teacher trainees across the country have been anxiously waiting for their allowance to be paid. All day, students have been checking their ezwich and bank accounts, hoping to see some money hit their accounts. But sadly, it looks like the money didn’t come today. This has left many trainees feeling frustrated and worried.


One concerned trainee, Alhassan Abdul Rahim Rooney, couldn’t hold back anymore. He commented on Facebook asking, “Dr, please any updates on Teacher trainees allowance?”
In response, the CEO of the Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF), Madam Saajida Shiraz, replied, “We are working to pay this week.”


Her message, though short, gives a little hope that payment may come before the week ends. While no specific day was mentioned, trainees are encouraged to stay calm and keep checking for updates.

This update from the SLTF CEO means that processes are ongoing behind the scenes. So, if you are a teacher trainee and haven’t received your allowance yet, be patient. According to the SLTF, payment is on the way – just not today.
