The National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education-Ghana (PRINCOF) has announced the end date for the macro teaching program (STS) for Level 400 students. According to a letter dated 7th March 2025, the macro teaching will end on 21st March 2025 for the 2024/2025 academic year. The management of Savannah College of Education, Daboya, has suspended all teaching and teaching-related activities following student protests on campus. This decision was announced in a memo dated 4th March 2025, signed by the acting College Secretary on behalf of the Vice Principal. The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has given approval for loan payments to 9,433 students studying in 62 public and private tertiary institutions in Ghana. This decision is one of the first major actions taken by Dr. Saajida Shiraz since she became the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Trust Fund.
