C-SERP Extends Aptitude Test Dates for Category C (WASSCE) Applicants

The Ministry of the Interior has announced an extension of the aptitude test dates for Category C (WASSCE) applicants under the 2025/2026 Centralized Services E-Recruitment Portal (C-SERP).
This decision was taken after the Ministry received complaints from some applicants who faced challenges while trying to complete their aptitude test online. According to the Ministry, the extension will help ensure that all affected applicants are given a fair chance to write the test.
New Test Dates for Category C (WASSCE)
Category C applicants are hereby informed that the test deadline has been extended to 28th February 2026. A mop-up exercise will begin on Saturday, 21st February 2026.
The service-based schedule is as follows:
- Saturday, 21st – Monday, 23rd February 2026 – Ghana Immigration Service (GIS)
- Tuesday, 24th – Wednesday, 25th February 2026 – Ghana Police Service
- Thursday, 26th – Saturday, 28th February 2026 – Ghana National Fire Service and Ghana Prisons Service
Applicants are advised to carefully check their service category and make sure they log into the portal within their assigned dates.
General Mop-Up for All Categories
The Ministry has also announced a general mop-up exercise for all categories (A to C). This will take place from Sunday, 1st March to Monday, 2nd March 2026.
After the mop-up exercise, results will be released on 4th March 2026.
Important Notice to Applicants
All affected applicants will receive SMS messages with instructions to log into the portal and retake the aptitude test within the scheduled dates.
However, the Ministry has stated that the 82% of applicants who have already successfully completed their test will not be able to log in again during the mop-up period. They will have to wait for the official release of results.
Upcoming Live Social Media Session
To further support applicants, the Ministry has announced that there will be a live social media session led by the technical team. The session will address issues related to the aptitude test and answer questions from applicants.
The live session is scheduled for Sunday, 22nd February 2026 at 8:30 PM. More details will be shared soon.
