Ghana Police Service Outlines Security Arrangements for the 2025 Easter Celebrations
As Ghanaians prepare to celebrate Easter in 2025, the Ghana Police Service has announced that strong security measures have been put in place across the country to ensure a safe and peaceful holiday.
In a press release dated 17th April 2025, the Police said, “The Ghana Police Service wishes to inform the general public that comprehensive security measures have been put in place nationwide to ensure a safe and peaceful 2025 Easter celebration.”
To protect everyone during the festivities, police officers have been sent to patrol roads and communities. This is to help manage traffic and keep the peace during the Easter events happening in all parts of the country.
Special attention has also been given to the Kwahu area, which is known for its lively Easter activities. The statement added, “Special security arrangements have also been made within the Kwahu areas to cover the Paragliding Festival and other scheduled activities.”
The police are encouraging everyone to stay alert and careful. They advised, “We urge everyone to be security conscious, remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the police.”
The Police Administration ended the release with a kind Easter message: “The Police Administration wishes you a happy Easter.”
