How to Check NTC GTLE Results
The National Teaching Council (NTC) has released the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) results, allowing candidates to check their performance online. The process is simple and can be completed within a few minutes using the NTC examination portal.
This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to check your results, retrieve forgotten login details, and understand what to do after accessing your results.
How to Check Your GTLE Results
Candidates who sat for the GTLE can access their provisional results online by following these steps:
- 1. Visit the NTC examination portal at
2. Click on the “Check Results” option on the homepage.
3. Enter your Serial Number and PIN in the spaces provided.
4. Click the submit button to view your provisional results.
After successfully logging in, candidates will be able to see their examination performance and download the relevant result documents.
What to Do If You Have Forgotten Your Serial Number or PIN
The NTC has provided an option for candidates who cannot remember their login details.
To retrieve your details:
1. Visit exams.ntc.gov.gh.
2. Select “Check Results”.
3. Click on “Forgotten Details”.
4. Enter your Examination ID (for example, GTLE/XXXXXX) and the phone number used during registration.
5. Follow the instructions provided to retrieve your details and access your results.
Alternative Recovery Method
Candidates may also use their email address together with the phone number used during registration to access their results if they are unable to retrieve their Serial Number or PIN through the first method.
Candidates who have successfully passed all the required papers are advised to immediately download and print their result documents for future use.
Successful candidates should print:
– The Provisional Results Slip
– The Provisional Certificate
These documents may be required during employment processes, teacher registration procedures, and other official activities.
Candidates who did not pass one or more papers should note that they will not have access to their provisional certificate at this stage.
The provisional certificate will only become available after all outstanding papers have been successfully passed. Such candidates are encouraged to prepare adequately and register for future resit examinations to complete all requirements.
The NTC has also indicated that candidates will only be able to download their official teaching certificates after graduating from their respective institutions.
Therefore, passing the GTLE alone does not automatically grant access to the final certificate. Candidates must first complete their academic programmes and graduate before the certificate becomes available for download.
All GTLE candidates are encouraged to keep their examination details, including their Examination ID, phone number, email address, Serial Number, and PIN, in a safe place. These details may be needed for future reference and access to NTC services.
Candidates should also regularly visit the NTC examination portal for updates regarding resit registrations, certificate downloads, and other important announcements related to teacher licensing in Ghana.
