PRINCOF Announces New Academic Calendar for Colleges of Education – Gh Edu Pro

2024/2025 Academic Calendar for Ghana’s Colleges of Education

National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education-Ghana (PRINCOF) has released new academic calendar for 2024/2025 academic year.

 Here’s a breakdown of the key dates and activities for students at the various levels:

1. Level 400 Orientation and Macro Teaching

11th – 15th November 2024: Level 400 students return to campus for orientation.

15th November 2024: They report to their schools of attachment for macro teaching.

2. Start of First Semester (Levels 100, 200, and 300)

18th November 2024: Students in Levels 100, 200, and 300 report to campus.

They will stay on campus for 5 weeks before the Christmas break.

3. Christmas Break

21st December 2024 – 11th January 2025: A 3-week break for Christmas.

4. Second Phase of First Semester

12th January 2025: Levels 100, 200, and 300 return to campus for 7 more weeks.

5. First Semester Exams and Break

3rd – 14th March 2025: End-of-semester exams.

15th March – 26th April 2025: 6-week semester break.

6. Start of Second Semester

27th April 2025: All levels report to campus for the second semester.

7. Second Semester Exams and Vacation

21st July – 1st August 2025: End-of-semester exams.

2nd August 2025: Start of the academic year vacation.
