Tumu College of Education Welcomes New Principal

Tumu College of Education has a new substantive Principal. On September 1, 2025, Professor Peter Agbedemnab officially assumed office, taking over from Mr. Bukari Babia Abdulai, who had served in an acting role for the past eight months.
Professor Agbedemnab joins the college from the C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences (CKT-UTAS) in Navrongo. He is believed to be in his early forties and brings along rich experience from the university level to strengthen leadership at the college.
A short but meaningful ceremony was held at the college principal’s office to mark the handover. Present at the event were:

The college administrator, Mr. Salifu Majeed
The senior auditing assistant, Mr. Wahab Nabugu
The finance director, Mr. Eric
The college community expressed appreciation to Mr. Abdulai for his dedicated service and warmly welcomed Professor Agbedemnab as he begins his journey
