What to Do After Receiving Your College of Education Admission SMS
If you’ve received an SMS notifying you of admission into a College of Education in Ghana, it means you’ve been offered provisional admission. But what should you do next?
Don’t worry — this guide explains all the important steps you must take to secure your admission successfully.
1. Check Your Admission Details
The SMS means you’ve been offered provisional admission.
Visit the official portal: https://admissionsghana.com/
Enter your application reference number to view your full admission details (college name, programme, fees, etc.).
2. Pay the Admission/Acceptance Fee
Once you confirm your admission, immediately pay the admission or acceptance fee before the deadline.
Payment is usually made through GCB Bank, ADB Bank, or Mobile Money (details are in your admission letter).
Keep your payment receipt or transaction ID safe — you’ll need it during registration.

Important: Failure to pay your admission fee before the deadline means your slot will be taken from you and given to another applicant.
3. Print Your Admission Letter and Documents
After payment, print your official admission letter, prospectus, and fee schedule.
Check for any list of required items such as uniforms, books, and personal effects.
4. Prepare Your Items
Buy all the items listed in your prospectus.

5. Report to the College
Report to the college on the date stated in your letter with:
- Printed admission letter
- Payment receipt
- Original and photocopies of WAEC results
- Birth certificate

6. Registration at the College
