Students have been informed that the allowance processing has reached an important stage. Colleges are currently validating and uploading students’ information to the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) to facilitate the release of funds to the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF).
Following the completion of this process, SLTF will receive the funds and proceed with the disbursement of allowances into students’ individual accounts.
According to the leadership, continuous engagement is being maintained with the Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF) and GTEC. It is anticipated that once the validation and data-uploading exercise is completed within the week, payment of allowances could commence next week.
Students are therefore encouraged to provide accurate information during the validation and uploading process to avoid any challenges that could result in delayed or missed payments.
The leadership also expressed sincere appreciation to PRINCOF for its ongoing support throughout the process.
