The Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) has released the provisional results for the 2026 May/June Certificate II and other Technical Examinations.
The results were officially released on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, according to a press release from the Commission.
How to Check the CTVET Results
Candidates who took part in the examination can check their results online.
To check your result, visit the official CTVET examination results portal: https://examination.ctvet.gov.gh
Candidates will need their Index Number and Unique Reference Number as provided on their examination index slips.
61,506 Candidates Took Part
According to CTVET, a total of 61,506 candidates took part in the 2026 May/June examinations.
The number included:
- 45,357 males
- 16,149 females
The Commission said this represents an 11.23% increase compared to the 55,295 candidates who sat for the examinations in 2025.
Out of the total number of candidates who sat for the examinations, 36,874 candidates obtained general passes, representing approximately 62.4%.
Subjects Covered
The Certificate II examination consisted of two main components.
1. Core Components
These included:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Integrated Science
- Social Studies
- Entrepreneurship
2. Elective Components
These covered the various trade and professional area programmes.
Some Results Withheld
CTVET also disclosed that the results of six (6) candidates have been withheld.
The Commission explained that the results were withheld because the candidates are being investigated over their alleged involvement in various examination malpractices.
Some other candidates also have their results withheld because of administrative issues. Their results are expected to be released once the issues have been resolved.
