SLTF Confirms Payment of Allowances to Teacher Trainees After Pre-Audit
The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has completed the payment of allowances to many teacher trainees after going through a pre-auditing process. This means that those who were waiting patiently for their money can now smile — their accounts have been credited!
Pre-auditing is simply the checking of documents and details before money is paid. SLTF and the colleges had to make sure all trainees’ details were correct and that no one was making a false claim.
It takes some time, but it’s an important step to make sure the right people receive the right amount.
GHC 1,000 Paid for 5 Months
Each qualified trainee has received GHC 1,000, covering five months of allowance. This payment comes after several months of waiting, and many trainees are excited to finally receive the funds.
A large number of trainees across various colleges have received their allowances. The SLTF has worked hard to speed up the process so that all qualified students get what they deserve.
If you haven’t received yours yet, don’t panic — more payments will continue as long as your details are correct and submitted.
SLTF says it remains committed to supporting teacher trainees in Ghana and will continue to work hard to make sure no one is left behind.
