According to the Finance Minister, “We have paid all nursing and teacher training allowances from January to June 2025.” This brings great relief to many students who have been waiting patiently for this update.
So, five months of teacher trainee allowance paid at a rate of ₵196 per month equals a total of ₵980. This means that each teacher trainee who has received payment for five months would have been paid ₵980 in total.

If you are a teacher trainee, you can now visit the nearest Ezwich vendor or your bank to check and withdraw your money. Make sure your Ezwich card is active and not damaged before you go.
This payment of five months’ allowance shows that the government is responding to the needs of trainees. Although there were some delays, the most important thing is that the money has now been released.
We also want to remind those who haven’t received theirs yet to stay calm. Sometimes, the payment process may take a few hours to reflect for everyone, so please be patient.
Important Note: If you still don’t see your allowance after a few days, contact your school accountant or the Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) for assistance.
Many trainees have been eagerly waiting for these payments, especially after months of delay. While the amount may not seem sufficient for all living costs, the payment still provides some level of relief and encouragement to the beneficiaries.
Stakeholders continue to call for timely disbursements and possible increments to better reflect the current economic realities.
Let’s spread this good news by sharing it with others.
