KNUST
The TTAG team visited KNUST on January 15, 2025, where they were received by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Registrar, Examination Coordinator, and Assessment Officer. Discussions focused on the delay in releasing results for five Colleges of Education under KNUST.
- First-semester results for Level 100 and 300 students (who wrote exams from April 8–19, 2024) had not yet been released.
- Second-semester results for exams written between October 2 and October 11, 2024, were also delayed.
- Supplementary exams written in July 2024 had not been released.
The university admitted the delay and apologized. Officials assured TTAG that supplementary results would be released before the end of January 2025, and results for both semesters would follow soon.
UEW
On October 17, 2024, TTAG visited the Institute of Teacher Education and Continuous Professional Development (ITECPD) at UEW. They discussed delays and inconsistencies in releasing results for 16 Colleges of Education affiliated with UEW.
The university acknowledged the issue and promised to increase work speed. They assured that affected students would start seeing some of their results on their portals by January 21, 2025.

UG
On January 18, 2025, TTAG engaged with the Dean of the School of Teacher Education and Leadership, Assessment Officer, Examination Coordinator, and Faculty Administrator at the University of Ghana (UG).
The university explained that many delays were caused by students not registering their courses on time, making it difficult to process results.
TTAG’s Call to Action
TTAG has directed all Student Representative Councils (SRCs) in affected Colleges of Education to compile a list of students still unable to access their results. This data will be forwarded to the universities for further action.
The association also urged teacher trainees to take course registration seriously, as failing to register on time is a major reason for delays in releasing results.
TTAG reassures all teacher trainees that they remain committed to championing their welfare. The leadership will continue to push for solutions that improve the educational experience for trainees.
