Nursing Trainees’ Allowance Has Been Paid; Teacher Trainees Still Await Payment
Level 100 Nursing trainees across Ghana received some good news. Their allowance from January to July 2025 has finally been paid!
Meanwhile, final year nnursing trainees receives one month since they were paid last two weeks ago
Each nursing trainee has received GHS 399.00 per month, and the payment has been sent directly to their e-zwich cards. This means they can now go to the bank or ATM to load their funds and use the money for their needs. So, six months’ allowance at GHS 399 per month equals GHS 2,394.
Meanwhile, final-year and level 200 nursing trainees received only one month’s allowance, because they were paid six months’ allowance just two weeks ago.

This payment has brought smiles to many trainee nurses who have been waiting for a long time. It will help them buy food, pay for transport, and take care of school expenses.
However, while nursing trainees are happy, teacher trainees are still waiting. Many teacher trainees are asking when their allowance will be paid too. Some are hopeful it will come soon, while others feel disappointed and left out.

We hope the government or Student Loan Trust Fund will give an update soon about the allowance for teacher trainees. All trainees deserve support for their hard work in school.
