The Education Committee of Parliament has announced that it will visit some Senior High Schools (SHS) and private universities in May 2025.

This is part of their work to check how schools are doing and how they can be helped.

The visits will take place in the Greater Accra, Eastern, Volta, Western, and Central regions of Ghana. It is called Phase Two of their monitoring program and will happen from Monday, 5th May to Friday, 9th May 2025.

Some of the schools and universities they will visit include:

  • Mawuli SHS
  • Bishop Herman College
  • Ola Girls SHS
  • Evangelical Presbyterian University
  • Awudome SHS
  • Ghana SHS
  • Koforidua Senior High/Technical School
  • All Nations University
  • New Juaben SHS
  • University of Engineering and Agricultural Sciences
  • Ofori Panin SHS

The Education Committee wants to make sure that students are learning well and that schools have what they need to succeed. They will also talk to school leaders and listen to their concerns.
