Students Loan Trust Fund Relocates Head Office to East Legon, Unpaid Allowances May Delay

The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) Ghana has announced the relocation of its Head Office to a new address. The office is now situated at Lagos Avenue, East Legon, adjacent to KFC.

This relocation is expected to enhance service delivery and make the Students Loan Trust Fund office in Accra more accessible to students and the general public.

Temporary Service Challenges During Relocation

However, the relocation process has come with a few challenges. SLTF noted that its systems are currently being reconfigured, which may cause temporary delays in processing student loan allowances. This means that some beneficiaries could experience a slowdown in receiving their unpaid allowances.

In their official notice, the Fund stated: “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and kindly request your patience as we work to restore full service.”

Why This Matters for Students in Ghana

The SLTF relocation to East Legon is a strategic move to provide a better working environment and improved accessibility. For students relying on student loans in Ghana, this transition is a sign of the Fund’s commitment to delivering equal financing for tertiary education.

The Students Loan Trust Fund Ghana continues to uphold its vision of “providing equal financing to tertiary education with greater services.”
